Students Suing UCLA over Campus Protests

Americans have been shocked by the radical antisemitic riots on college campuses since the October 7th attack on Israel. Jew hatred has spewed from the mouths of these protestors as they have championed the actions of Hamas terrorists. Many of these protests have become violent and Jewish students have lived in fear for their lives. Three students in California have had enough of the disruptive, antisemitic protests and are seeking change in court.

Three students at UCLA filed  a lawsuit against the university for allowing extremist protesters to build an encampment on campus and prevent Jewish students and faculty from passing through. The protesters set up a “Jew Exclusion Zone” which barred Jews from entering. Instead of defending the Jewish students and dismantling the encampment, UCLA’s administration stood idly by and allowed the protests to continue. The plaintiffs hope the court will help prevent antisemitism such as this on UCLAs campus again. Read more about their court case, Frankel v. Regents of the University of California in this press release.

Court cases such as this will turn the tides on the rampant protests and institutions’ complicity in antisemitism. We hope to see an increase in students and faculty speaking out against these protests.
