A Lesson on the History of Israel and Hamas

As we continue to see antisemitic protests on college campuses, it is important to understand how we, as a nation, have dealt with these attitudes in our history. In fact,  even at the founding of the country after the American Revolution there were questions about whether Jewish citizens could participate in the civic activity. For a deeper look at the history of Jews in America, we invite you to read this article written by Andrew Porwancher titled, “The Jewish Experience in the American Revolution.”

Mr. Porwancher is the author of the book, “The Jewish World of Alexander Hamilton”, and he teaches constitutional history at Arizona State University. The pieces of history he shares in this article highlight the resilience of the Jewish people in our country.

As our Restoring Our Faith Summit speakers demonstrated, Jews and Christians must remain steadfast in our faith and speak out against evil forces who seek to suppress our beliefs or worse yet try to destroy the people who brought these beliefs into the world. Our country was founded on many Biblical principles and we need to preserve them during this upheaval.
